Hotel Operations Specialist

This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during late evening shifts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a property management system, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and outgoing personality.

The successful Hotel Operations Specialist will be responsible for checking and balancing the day's takings from the hotel's outlets, ensuring accurate charges to guests' rooms, and completing the night audit process reconciliation and excel reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and balancing the day's takings from the hotel's outlets
  • Ensuring accurate charges to guests' rooms
  • Ensuring the safety and security of guests
  • Completing the night audit process reconciliation and excel reporting
  • Front Office duties such as checking in late arrivals or settling accounts of early departures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with a property management system (preferably Opera)
  • Exceptional customer service skills, communication, and time management skills
  • A friendly and outgoing personality
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • A willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills

The Hotel Operations Specialist should have a strong analytical mind, high-level computer literacy, and accuracy. They should also be reliable and flexible, able to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
