Front Office Administrator
Key Responsibilities
The role of a Front Office Administrator is to deliver a comprehensive and customer-focused service across all administrative functions, with a particular emphasis on tasks related to pre-admissions.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Processing all booking requests from VMOs or patients and reviewing theatre lists as needed.
- Thoroughly checking all received paperwork and initiating follow-up actions as necessary, ensuring patients possess the appropriate level of health fund coverage.
- Proactively reaching out to patients to schedule appointments in a timely manner.
- Recording all bookings accurately in the relevant system.
- Ensuring the successful implementation and consistent adherence to standard policies, processes and documentation within the revenue cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key skills required for this position include effective communication and interpersonal skills, proven teamwork, strong customer service skills, timely task completion, tech savvy abilities, organisational skills and basic medical terminology knowledge.
