About the Role

VargasAndrews is seeking a reliable and responsible individual to assist with household tasks and family support in our Runcorn location. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, managing household duties, and providing care for a 6-year-old boy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all household cleaning duties, including tidying and basic maintenance.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes.
  • Handle grocery orders and general cooking for the household.
  • Tidy up to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Spray weeds and perform basic gardening tasks as needed.
  • Assist with childcare, including preparation of school lunches, homework, some pick-up/drop-off, and other activities.
Work Hours and Schedule
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in Spanish (English not required).
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to drive in Australia.
  • Experience with household tasks, basic gardening, and childcare is preferred.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Friendly and patient, especially when interacting with children and elderly family members.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base compensation includes accommodation and meals (breakfast and dinner provided five days a week).
  • Use of a Suzuki Swift 2005 automatic for personal and work-related tasks (fuel and insurance costs covered by the employee).
  • Allowance of $500 per week.
  • Opportunity to work an additional 20 to 30 hours per week as Hotel cleaning staff at an effective hourly rate of $30 to $70 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $1,000 - $1,500 per week
