We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Professional to join our team at St Vincent's Care Services. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, ensuring they can maintain their independence and live life to the fullest.
As a Home Care Support Professional, you will be responsible for delivering personal care and support with daily living activities, working collaboratively with our team to achieve the best outcomes for individuals, and providing social outings and transport services.
You will also be required to provide in-home respite guided by a Care Plan, monitor and report on changes to client health through appropriate protocols, and build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Things That Work for Us- A valid driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance are essential for this role.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in aged care or disability support is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for this position.
- Compassion, empathy, and a caring approach are vital qualities for this role.
- This role offers competitive pay rates within the industry, paid travel time and kilometres, and paid leave loading.
- You will have access to flexible hours, paid training, and uniforms.
- Our organisation offers salary packaging of up to $15,990 to increase your take-home pay, as well as Meals and Entertainment cards up to $2,650 per annum, and novated leasing.
