Trades Assistant / Labourer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant / Labourer to join our team.

The role involves performing a variety of tasks, including grinding, cutting steel and timber, and sanding. The successful candidate will also be required to weld (depending on experience), measure, mark, and prepare materials for production. Additionally, the individual will operate workshop machinery, such as saws, drills, grinders, and sanders, to assemble components and fittings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Performing manual labour duties in a workshop environment
  • Operating power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assisting with the assembly and packaging of finished products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Workshop or trade experience
  • Confidence in using hand and power tools
  • Basic welding skills (advantageous but not essential)
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
