Job Description:

As a Senior Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a cluster of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) teams in schools. This is a dynamic people management role that requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to motivate and manage teams, and build strong relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools
  • Oversee all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams
  • Conduct Educator appraisals
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires an experienced Area Manager with demonstrated area management or remote team management experience. A Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent is also required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. Current VIC Working with Children Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain is also necessary.
