Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the redesign of our core platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deconstructing and reimagining the platform's architecture to enhance performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of architects in implementing Azure cloud architecture solutions and oversee migration issues.
  • Drive, plan, and develop blueprints and deliverables to advance customers' Azure Cloud capabilities.
  • Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.
  • Estimate and outline solutions needed for cloud migration.
  • Execute the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate assumptions, issues, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology and industry trends in the cloud and define new patterns and standards as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience designing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization.
  • In-depth knowledge of core Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and more.
  • Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Blueprints, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including Azure Security Center, Azure Policies, encryption, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in Azure storage services and database offerings, including MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience in architecting data lakes, data warehouses, and using services like Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
