About You :

  • Applicable years of experience working in retail or sales

Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated Island Sales and Customer Engagement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, participating in stocktake, and ensuring the store is clean and tidy. Your primary objective will be to drive exceptional store performance and exceed customer expectations.

Key Requirements :

  • At least two years of working experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Proven track record of providing successful customer service experiences
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage customers in a pleasant manner

Job Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers warmly, provide them with a positive attitude, and make them feel valued
  • Assist customers in finding the products they need and encourage them to return
  • Suggest suitable products to customers based on their preferences
  • Listen attentively to customers' feedback and concerns, and respond accordingly
  • Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to Management promptly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and management
  • Distribute promotional materials to customers and assist with their inquiries
  • Inform customers about product prices and availability
  • Inform Store Manager when items are out of stock
  • Operate the cash registers, process payments accurately, and handle returns or exchanges
  • Packaging of goods for customers
  • Ensure that the store is well-organised, clean, and tidy at all times
  • Participate in regular stocktakes of all merchandise
  • Arrange for damaged goods to be repaired or replaced
  • Perform other duties reasonably required by the job role

Estimated Salary: AU$45,000 - AU$55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
