Permanency Care Manager

Our organisation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to oversee our permanency services. This critical role requires an individual with a strong background in trauma-informed care, case management, and team leadership.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services to children, young people, and their families. This will involve developing and implementing effective support plans tailored to individual needs, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing guidance and support to staff members.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals in delivering trauma-informed case management services.
- Develop and implement effective support plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members.
We are looking for an experienced manager with a solid understanding of the NSW Permanency Support Program, including emerging issues and developments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of child development and trauma-informed practices.
- Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with Children and Young People in OOHC.
- Experience in working with Aboriginal young people, their families, and communities.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
