The University of Wollongong's Graduate School of Medicine is committed to improving health and wellbeing through best practice medical education and meaningful research.
About the RoleWe are seeking a PhD qualified medical scientist to develop curriculum, deliver teaching-learning activities and contribute to assessment in areas of sciences in the medical program such as biochemistry, genetics, physiology, cancer biology and systems anatomy.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be appointed at Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range is $117,436 - $160,878 per annum + 17% Superannuation. We also offer a variety of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities, a vibrant research culture and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum for the medical program, incorporating best practices in medical education and research.
- Deliver high-quality teaching-learning activities, using contemporary teaching methods and technologies, to students in both Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands Campuses.
- Contribute to assessment and evaluation of student learning, developing assessments and remediation activities to foster student achievement in sciences for medicine.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
