About the Role

The Lead Application Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining large, complex corporate systems that facilitate the achievement of the Department's core business through the use of process and technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing design, analysis, and programming expertise into the development and enhancement of complex software applications, systems, and prototypes.
  • Providing ongoing third-level technical support for applications, including triage, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate system documentation, including change requests, technical guides, and problem knowledge bases.
  • Assuming technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with development standards and achievement of documented requirements.
  • Monitoring applications for issues, analyzing logs, and generating reports on large applications to proactively avoid disruptions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale enterprise technologies, including application maintenance, platform upgrades, and incident management.
  • Significant knowledge in design, development, and testing of applications based on object-oriented programming languages.
  • Sound working knowledge of IT service management principles and frameworks, including ITIL.
  • Experience in front-end development using VueJS, React, or Angular.
  • Currency of and in-depth familiarity with databases such as Oracle and/or SQL Server.
