Cloud Infrastructure Manager Role Description

  • Perform key roles in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Lead a diverse technical team in a datacenter and manage large-scale and complex projects/programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support global and regional initiatives, such as environmental health and safety, risk assessments, and certifications.

  • Define team objectives and outcomes, enable success across boundaries, and help the team adapt and learn.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years' experience in mission-critical service management.
  • 3+ years' experience in leading a diverse technical team in a datacenter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience managing large scale and complex projects/programs.
  • 6+ years' experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU).
  • 6+ years' experience in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling).
