About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic project that will deliver a sustainable future for Western Australia.

Job Description:

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, and construction elements of the Material Handling Package, including the Urea building, conveyor, and ship loader. This will involve working closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of the project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate design, procurement, and construction elements of the Material Handling Package">
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of the project outcomes">
  • Determine suitable site layout and provide engineering input to design modelling of civil roads, drainage, and siteworks">
  • Review geotechnical reports, civil drawings, and 3D models">
  • Determine loads and load combinations, perform soil-structure interaction analysis, and design simple foundations, slabs on ground, and retaining structures">
  • Produce calculation reports and possess ability to integrate seamlessly into a project team at any point during its lifecycle">
  • Possess ability to work unsupervised to achieve results">
  • General computer literacy skills and good knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of relevant postgraduate engineering experience in engineering/construction environments. You will also need to have good knowledge and exposure in determining suitable site layout, providing engineering input to design modelling, reviewing geotechnical reports, and possessing general computer literacy skills.
