Senior Engineering Manager Position

This senior leadership role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of engineering principles, technical operations, and safety protocols.
  • As a senior leader, they will supervise a team of engineers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard;
  • Supervising engineering officers while adhering to established procedures;
  • Safeguarding the company's interest at all times;
  • Assisting in the operation of cargo equipment;
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role or as an engineer;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Detailed knowledge of engineering principles and practices;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
