Community Football & Competition Manager

This senior leadership position oversees the management, development and growth of community football competitions across various age groups.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow participation and improve the overall experience of competitors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with AFL clubs, officials, and volunteers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver programs that support competition management.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and address any issues affecting the competitions.
  • Ensure compliance with national guidelines and regulations.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Advanced communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven operational and administrative management expertise.
  • Innovative thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver with accuracy.
  • A deep understanding of the sporting landscape, ideally with experience in community sport or large-scale volunteer-based organisations.
