About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Planner to join our team at A.I.R Recruitment. As a Service Planner, you will play a critical role in reviewing, coordinating, and assigning job schedules to the team, while monitoring the progress, quality, and profitability of all jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Scheduling: Plan and prioritize work schedules to ensure efficient and prompt scheduling and processing.
  • Job Coordination: Coordinate with Field Supervisors and Service Managers to schedule breakdown work and arrange for sub-contracted goods, services, and equipment.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to gather additional requirements and schedule services accordingly.
  • Inventory Management: Create purchase requisitions for spare parts, hire equipment, and other goods and services as required to complete planned work.
  • Productivity Monitoring: Monitor manhours and productivity captured against budget to ensure productivity levels and projected profitability.
  • Job Documentation: Ensure that all service jobs are correctly recorded and submitted in the system for invoicing and reporting.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor the status and expected delivery dates of spare parts ordered for jobs to ensure parts are delivered and available for scheduled work.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a service-related position.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience working with various computer systems and programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Planning and Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan jobs and develop a work scope.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work well both independently and in a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Location: Ability to work in the Canning Vale location.
