Exciting Defence Role Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to work in the Defence environment, supporting national security requirements. You will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing mechanical and electrical work activities
  • Procuring materials and creating comprehensive work packs
  • Managing maintenance documentation on Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Coordinating contractors including obtaining quotes and documentation
  • Assisting experienced maintenance technicians in field works
  • Supporting various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to different locations throughout NSW
  • Providing general administration support as required

You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated professional who draws on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes. The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous labouring or trade (mechanical) experience highly regarded
  • Experience working with SAP based Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Experience preparing permit to work documentation and risk assessments
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
  • Current Defence Security Clearance
  • Excellent IT / computer literacy & skills
