About the Opportunity


We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH.


As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will work as part of a friendly and close-knit team to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Carry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
  • Clean residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment, as appropriate, and communal and administrative areas
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and all other areas of the facility (including front entrance courtyards, verandas) are maintained in a clean and tidy and safe condition
  • Ensure the safe storage, security, and labelling of appropriate cleaning materials in line with the MSDS, and in consultation with the Residential Services Manager, while being aware of the environmental requirements of cleaning products and their disposal
  • Replenish cleaning liquids and materials while observing safety procedures
  • Report stock shortages, breakages, building, equipment, or furnishing defects promptly to the Residential Services Manager
