About the Opportunity


We are seeking a reliable and caring Residential Services Assistant to join our friendly team in Upper Ferntree Gully. This is a casual opportunity that offers flexibility across various days.



Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment by carrying out domestic tasks, including cleaning residents' rooms, ensuites, furniture, and equipment as needed.
  • Clean communal areas, hallways, and other facility spaces to ensure they are safe, clean, and tidy.
  • Manage cleaning materials, ensuring safe storage, security, and labelling, while adhering to environmental requirements for disposal.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies, reporting stock shortages or breakages promptly to the Residential Services Manager.


Skill Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, patience, and understanding of client services to work with residents, families, employees, and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
