Job Title: Financial Management Role

The position involves managing the financial aspects of a leading investment firm. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the consolidated financial position of the group and lead compliance and reporting across various entities.

  • You will manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversight of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations is also required.
  • Maintenance of general ledgers, journals, and asset registers across group entities.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly board packs, management reporting, and cash flow statements are part of your responsibilities.
  • Tax compliance, including BAS, IAS, FBT, income tax workpapers, and liaising with external accountants is necessary.
  • Support for audit, governance, and regulatory reporting requirements is also essential.
  • Assistance with investment transactions, settlements, and portfolio reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and be CA/CPA qualified. You will bring 4+ years' experience in financial or management accounting, ideally with exposure to investment, funds, or professional services environments.

  • Chartered (Big 4 or mid-tier) experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge is required.
  • Exposure to inter-entity transactions, consolidations, and investment reporting is necessary.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are required.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
