About the Role

Melba Support Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of House Supervisor in our Residential Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals with disabilities in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure excellent outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our Operations Manager and Practice Quality and Safeguards team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring that our clients receive person-centered care and support that meets their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct regular reporting and provide updates to the Operations Manager on team performance, client outcomes, and any areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in leadership positions, with a strong track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Specialized knowledge and understanding of disability support, including person-centered active support, positive behavior support, and NDIS funding and planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and client-centered care.
