This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Mental Health Expert in Child and Adolescent or Youth Mental Health.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs within the department/service.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including medical and other health services colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery across multiple sites.
- Contribute to research relevant to the role and needs of the department.
- Registration or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (RANZCP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
- Demonstrated subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent or Youth Mental Health.
- Proven capacity and/or experience in providing high-quality services in the specialty.
- Commitment to teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
