Job Opportunity: Mental Health Specialist

  • Provide high-quality mental health care services to ADF personnel, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, including intake, assessment, and case management.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting, supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mental health professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual who can provide expert mental health care services to ADF personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting.
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
