Contract Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing contracts for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Stations, Systems, Trains and Operations & Maintenance PPP Project.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in contract management and dispute resolution to a complex infrastructure project. As a Contract Management Specialist, you will interface with external entities within an unincorporated joint venture and across the PPP contractual structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Stations, Systems, Trains and Operations & Maintenance PPP Project
  • Interface with external entities within an unincorporated joint venture and across the PPP contractual structure
  • Draft complex correspondence, build claims, and negotiate dispute resolutions in collaboration with project and commercial managers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years post-graduate experience
  • Background in private legal practice or in-house legal roles (preferred)
  • Expertise in contract management and dispute resolution in infrastructure/construction sectors
  • Strong understanding of contract law and ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks
  • Proficiency in drafting contractual notices, claims, and responses
