Business Opportunity

This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders to define business requirements and shape solutions that improve billing accuracy, customer outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements relating to billing processes and systems
  • Analyse current-state billing operations, customer journeys, and regulatory obligations to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the definition of scope, benefits, costs, and business impacts for billing system enhancements and related projects
  • Develop clear documentation including business requirements, process maps, options analysis, and impact assessments
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working groups with stakeholders across customer, finance, operations, IT, and regulatory teams
  • Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for executive and steering committee review
Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field; relevant certifications highly regarded
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on billing systems
  • Strong understanding of industry processes, customer billing, market settlements, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in agile delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
