Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) team in Tweed. As a Counsellor, you will work with patients accessing the service, providing individualised client care through the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive AOD Service.

The successful candidate will be a health professional with a strong understanding of substance use and its impact on individuals and communities. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality counselling services to patients accessing the AOD service
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive AOD Service that meets the needs of patients and the community
