High-Security ICT Professional Required

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled ICT professional to join our team. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining critical systems across virtual, desktop, and cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with senior government officials to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions that meet their operational needs. This includes managing virtual desktops, networks, and mobility solutions using scripting tools such as PowerShell.

Your expertise in Microsoft server and desktop environments will be essential in administering application packaging and deployment, as well as managing secure end-user computing environments.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in system administration, particularly in high-security settings. You will be responsible for patching, updating, and troubleshooting Windows environments to ensure seamless operation.

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of secure system administration practices and the ability to optimize and support virtual desktop environments. Experience with Citrix technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BUILD, DEPLOY AND MANAGE VIRTUAL DESKTOP SOES USING SCRIPTING TOOLS.
  • ADMINISTER MICROSOFT CONFIGURATION MANAGER FOR APPLICATION PACKAGING AND DEPLOYMENT.
  • MANAGE SECURE END-USER COMPUTING ENVIRONMENTS, INCLUDING ACTIVE DIRECTORY AND GROUP POLICY.
  • MAINTAIN SYSTEMS THROUGH PATCHING, UPDATES AND TROUBLESHOOTING ACROSS WINDOWS ENVIRONMENTS.
Requirements:
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT SERVER AND DESKTOP ENVIRONMENTS.
  • DEMONSTRATED EXPERTISE IN POWERSHELL SCRIPTING AND DEPLOYMENT METHODOLOGIES.
  • STONG KNOWLEDGE OF SECURE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION PRACTICES.
  • EXPERIENCE OPTIMISING AND SUPPORTING VIRTUAL DESKTOP ENVIRONMENTS.
Contract Details:
  • CONTRACT DURATION: 12 MONTHS WITH 2 X 12-MONTH EXTENSION OPTIONS.
Clearance Requirements:
  • TSPV CLEARANCE REQUIRED DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ROLE.
