About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant at St Vincent's Care Services Arundel. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing personalized care and support to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, mobility assistance, and medication management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting a culture of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications
  • 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
