Operate Quarry Plant

Maas Group is looking for a highly skilled Quarry Operator to join our team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our quarry plant.

Located at the base of Mt Toolebewong, Yarra Valley Quarries (YVQ) produces concrete aggregates to Dandy Premix concrete plants and crushed rock products for local road works in the Yarra Ranges Shire Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mobile plant including Front End Loader, Dump Truck, Excavator, and Crushing Plant
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks on plant and equipment
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and WHS meetings
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Plant operating experience including Front End Loader, Dump Truck, Excavator, and Crushing Plant
  • Driver's license and White Card
  • Experience working in a quarry environment
  • Relevant RII tickets (not essential)
  • Initiative, proactive, and organised approach to work
