This role is an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
About the RoleThe primary function of this position is to provide direct patient care services, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective treatment. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in multidisciplinary care planning to ensure comprehensive patient care;
- Administering medications as prescribed by medical staff, adhering to relevant guidelines and protocols;
- Providing education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-care skills;
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, contributing to a culture of transparency and accountability;
- Collaborating with colleagues to address patient needs, share knowledge, and enhance team performance.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse;
- Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams;
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
