About the Role

The primary function of this position is to provide direct patient care services, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective treatment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-care skills;

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care environment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams;
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
