We are seeking a dynamic Health Consultant to join our team on a casual basis in Brisbane. At LifeWorks, we empower people to take control of their health through various programs and services that help make informed decisions.

As a Health Consultant, you will be part of our allied health professional team, providing services in corporate settings, including vaccinations, health checks, skin checks, counselling, and mental health support.

You will conduct employee health checks, including cholesterol testing, blood pressure, waist measurement, and lifestyle questionnaires. You may also have the opportunity to provide health coaching and deliver seminars in your area of expertise.

To succeed in this role, you should have knowledge of workplace health promotion, excellent organisation and time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality assessments.

You will liaise with various individuals, including clients, health professionals, program managers, and equipment coordinators, and communicate effectively with occupational groups to support clients and deliver outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Health Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, or an equivalent health-related degree. Current First Aid and CPR certificates are also required. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status is mandatory.

Prior experience in conducting health/fitness assessments and providing healthy lifestyles counselling is desirable. Membership with ESSA, DAA, APA, or AHPRA (or eligibility for membership) is also beneficial.
