Dedicated Caregiver Wanted for Long-Term Role

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to provide personal care and domestic support to Matt, a young independent male with Cerebral Palsy. As his carer, you will be responsible for assisting him with daily tasks, including showering, dressing, and feeding. You will also need to transport him to various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
- Assist with mobility and transfer
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Transport Matt to appointments and social events
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate cooking and food-handling skills
- Current Police Clearance or willingness to undergo
- NDIS Worker Check or willingness to undergo
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Benefits:
This is a part-time casual role with flexible hours, offering above award wages and weekend penalty rates. The role involves approximately 8-10 hours per week, with the possibility of weekend getaways. We prefer a local person due to the short shifts.
