The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team. As an experienced tradesperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our equipment and ensuring optimal performance.

  • Workshop - servicing, preventative and scheduled maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics, and major component change outs
  • Field - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and servicing of drills
  • Development Machinery - cablebolt and long hole drills, trucks, boggers, charge-up equipment, IT's, and LV's
  • Production Machinery - loaders, surface drills, and LV fleet

You will be responsible for:

  1. Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy machinery and equipment
  2. Fault finding and diagnosing technical issues
  3. Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs
  4. Working effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience in underground auto electrical work, working on a wide range of equipment and machinery.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a qualified Auto Electrician with:

  • A trade qualification in auto-electrical
  • Experience in underground auto electrical work, preferably in a mining environment
  • An excellent attitude towards work
  • A desire to work in an underground hard rock mine
