We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead major projects across core operations, cloud services, and networking.

Job Details:

  • Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
  • Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for permanent position)
  • Work Location: Sydney, office-based (5 days a week)

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (preferably Azure). They should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage expertise in infrastructure technologies to support and lead key projects involving core operations, cloud services, and networking.
  2. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity.
  3. Collaborate closely with IT team members, stakeholders, and vendors to align infrastructure initiatives with overall business objectives.
  4. Maintain and update comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
  5. Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of infrastructure investments.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (preferably Azure).
  • Ideal experience managing a small team across infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
