We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our growing Jira SRE team as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist - Reliability and Scalability Expert.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers who are passionate about scaling cloud services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using public cloud offerings such as AWS or GCP/Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize scalability and reliability improvements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and application performance.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, dashboards, and other operational tools to ensure efficient incident response and resolution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in cloud computing, with experience in designing and operating scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Familiarity with public cloud offerings such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including components like EC2, CloudFormation, RDS/Aurora, Caches, SQS.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and ability to debug complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
