Full-time Fire Systems Maintenance Technician Position AvailableDowner Facilities & Asset Services is seeking a motivated and skilled Fire Systems Maintenance Technician to support our Defence Contract across our Shoalhaven and Illawarra bases.Job Description:

Maintain, repair, and install mechanical fire protection systems in compliance with Australian Standards (AS1851) and relevant regulations. Conduct scheduled servicing and performance testing in accordance with AS1851, diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in fire protection systems, and adhere to maintenance schedules and safety procedures.

Ensure compliance with Australian fire protection standards and work within required safety frameworks. Develop and maintain knowledge of local and national legislation regarding fire protection services.

  • Maintain, repair, and install fire suppression systems
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in fire protection systems
  • Conduct scheduled servicing and performance testing
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow all safety procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant experience in fire system maintenance, servicing, and repairs, FPAS accreditation (mandatory), trade qualification in fire protection, electrical, or mechanical fields (desirable). Strong knowledge of Australian fire protection standards (AS1670, AS2419, etc.). Current NSW Driver's Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction Training).
