MRAEL and JAX Tyres & Auto are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician Trainee to enhance their team's capabilities. This comprehensive training program presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will work closely under the supervision of experienced mechanics, responsible for tire maintenance, general mechanical repairs, servicing, and routine vehicle upkeep. They will also have the chance to gain experience working within a small support team and reporting directly to the Workshop Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections
  • Performing motor vehicle diagnoses in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Utilizing knowledge and skills to source vehicle parts and accessories for repairs
  • Carrying out thorough maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • Completing wheel alignments, fittings, and balancing of tires

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A current driver's license (manual)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Fundamental mechanical knowledge

This position requires applicants to undergo basic aptitude testing and reference checks as part of the recruitment process.
