About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our People and Culture team in Hervey Bay, QLD.

  • As a senior HR professional, you will oversee crucial functions including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement and other initiatives to ensure we are well-resourced to meet our current and future objectives through our people.
  • You will reinforce our vision, mission and values; drive operational goals in alignment with strategic plans; create a positive workforce culture; develop and maintain professional work relationships with internal and external stakeholders; implement engagement and retention strategies; oversee work health and safety and workplace injuries; and manage the People and Culture team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar generalist role within an HR function. Experience dealing with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is highly desirable. You will also need a valid and current Police Check and annual training.

  • A thorough understanding of statutory obligations related to HR.
  • A strong background in performance management.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • Extensive experience in people management, coaching and mentoring.
  • A high level of integrity, objectivity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to technology and implement new solutions.

About the Benefits
