L3Harris is a leading provider of advanced defence technology solutions. We are seeking an experienced Configuration Lead to join our team and contribute to the delivery of critical Australian Defence programs.

The successful candidate will assist program/project managers with the creation and control of engineering data, focusing on the development of plans and processes required for IMSA to deliver products and services into the Defence industry.

Key responsibilities will include developing and delivering CM CDRL documentation across multiple project/programs, supporting the development of the CM process and toolset, and providing support at engineering reviews.

To be successful in this role, applicants should have proven experience in a CM role, tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, CM or related field, and 3-5 years minimum experience in CM in a Defence or strong regulatory environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a CM role
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, CM or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in CM in a Defence or strong regulatory environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the use and development of Electronic Configuration Management Systems
  • Experience in the configuration control of defence-based products, sub-systems, and systems
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Standards, their application and implementation
