About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality meals to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Oversee and support the resident dining experience, promoting a positive atmosphere in our facilities.
  • Lead and manage a skilled kitchen team, maintaining a smooth operation and exceptional service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and quality regulations, safeguarding the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Manage stock control and ordering, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
  • Implement effective food cost management strategies, contributing to the success of our business.
  • Communicate effectively with facility management, residents, and families, building strong relationships and trust.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Chef qualifications, including relevant training and certifications.
  • Experience working within aged care, with a strong understanding of modified texture and dietary needs.
  • Knowledge of food cost management principles and practices.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement, driving excellence in our services.
  • Strong personal presentation and grooming skills, representing our organization with pride.
