We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child/Adult Protective Services Specialist to join our team at the State of Hawai'i. As a key member of our Child Welfare Services Branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and adults.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigations to identify and confirm cases of child/dependent adult abuse/neglect
- Develop and implement primary treatment plans, including termination of parental rights as necessary
- Provide support and services to individuals and families affected by abuse and neglect
- Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and services
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations and case management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or human services
- One and one-half years of progressively responsible professional work experience in a related field
- One year of professional social or human service work experience conducting investigations and developing treatment plans
- Valid driver's license
