Breaking News Content Creator

This is a unique opportunity to join our leading multi-platform media network and be part of the team that provides breaking news, opinions, and information on local, national, and global events.
As a News Intern, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced journalists, commentators, and broadcasters to gain a comprehensive understanding of what it's like to work within our radio station, producing content for broadcasts and engaging with listeners.
The internship will offer opportunities to experience working in the Newsroom, alongside journalists, to understand how they generate, write, and present live and recorded bulletins.
We welcome driven and eager candidates who are excited to learn, grow, and contribute across various radio departments.
Responsibilities:
- Producing content for broadcasts and engaging with listeners
- Working in the Newsroom to understand how journalists generate, write, and present live and recorded bulletins
- Engaging audiences through posts on social media platforms, marketing, or supporting podcasting teams
Qualifications:
- A genuine knowledge and passion for news and current affairs
- An interest in pursuing a career within the Radio/Audio space
- Open to permanent or casual opportunities post-internship
- Professional approach and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Eager to learn and get the most out of the program
