Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a Disability Support Professional, you will work closely with our clients to provide support and assistance with daily living activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
- Minimum of Certificate III in Disability or individual support, home and community care, or Aged care.
- Valid Working with Children's card.
- Unrestricted driver's license.
- First aid and CPR certificate.
- Minimum of three COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Proficiency in the use of technology, such as computers and smartphones.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
