Group Fitness Specialist

A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a Group Fitness Coordinator to join our team at a brand-new health club in Mackay.
This part-time role offers the perfect blend of flexibility and growth potential, with the opportunity to teach additional classes at times that suit you.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about group fitness, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of group dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive attendance growth in group fitness classes, inspiring members on their fitness journeys.
- Recruit, mentor, and support instructors to maintain high standards in classes.
- Adapt seasonal timetables for live and virtual classes to meet member needs.
- Manage instructor invoices and ensure timely processing.
- Promote group fitness on social media, showcasing classes and community.
- Communicate club promotions and updates to the instructor team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years teaching group fitness, with a solid understanding of group dynamics.
- Les Mills Certification: Qualified in at least two Les Mills programs, with AIM1/AIM2 or advanced training in at least one.
- Team player: Work closely with the club manager and national group fitness manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Personable and member-focused: Friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated: Able to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Excel and ready to learn new systems.
