Project Supervisor Job Description

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and manage site teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labor resources.
  • Maintain quality control through inspections, compliance checks, and rectification management.
  • Oversee technical delivery, ensuring drawings, specifications, and standards are correctly implemented.
  • Drive and enforce WHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Manage procurement, logistics, and site resourcing requirements.
  • Track progress against program, prepare daily/weekly reports, and contribute to project financial control.
  • Support contract administration by reviewing claims, variations, and subcontractor documentation.
  • Build and maintain positive client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.

  • Proven leadership and ability to motivate and manage site teams.
  • Strong focus on cost control, labor management, and productivity outcomes.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical compliance.
  • Highly skilled in scheduling, sequencing, and resource allocation.

  • Clear, confident communication and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach to challenges on site.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
