About Our Role

At Savers Australia, we are dedicated to championing reuse and reducing waste. As a CDC Ambassador, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Thrift Shop Champion. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting donors and thanking them for their generous contributions
  • Handling donations with care and respect
  • Educating donors and customers about the work of our not-for-profit partners
  • Promoting our purpose to Champion Reuse
  • Sharing the Savers story
  • Working collaboratively with your team to meet daily production targets
  • Supporting our safety culture
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in retail, production, warehousing or hospitality (an asset)
  • A commitment to teamwork and customer service
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
