Job Description

We are seeking a Territory Manager to join our retail sales team. This diverse role will involve managing a portfolio of accounts, supporting both trade and retail channels. You will be working across a key territory with the focus on achieving ongoing commercial growth, building strong relationships, and adding value to your customers through exceptional customer service.

You will be predominately on the road visiting your customers to gain sales and influence buying habits in your territory. When not out on the road, you will be calling customers and planning for the days ahead, booking meetings and developing plans for growth in your territory.

Your days will involve training staff, merchandising while focusing on sales budgets, and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role offers variety and challenge that will keep you learning and growing your knowledge and skills. You will also be surrounded by an experienced team who will support you to succeed in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a customer base in person and over the phone
  • Achievement of sales, volume and KPI targets
  • Running reports and presenting them on a quarterly basis to stores
  • Growing and building relationships with new and existing customers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to understand a wide range of products and offerings across all channels
  • Strong customer service, sales, and planning skills
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills
  • Exposure to using sales CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home for a week once every six weeks
