Senior Family Support Specialist

This position is part of our Family Preservation Response Program, which aims to support strong and self-sufficient families. As a specialist, you will work closely with parents and caregivers to create a safe and nurturing home environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide in-depth case management services to engage hard-to-reach families and ensure their needs are met.
- Develop and implement creative interventions to promote family resilience and self-determination.
- Support parents to enhance their ability to provide a safe and stable home environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Considerable experience in the child welfare sector, including working with Child Protection.
- Demonstrated understanding of theoretical approaches relevant to working with families, including the Best Interests Framework.
- Ability to assess risks and develop effective intervention strategies.
