About The Role

The role of a Support Specialist is to empower clients with disabilities through engaging, creative activities that cater to their unique needs. This may involve providing in-home support, working shifts, including evenings and weekends, and collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

About You

  • Able to build strong, supportive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, demonstrating problem-solving abilities, and adapting to changing situations.
  • Flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, and public holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Holder of a valid driver's license and relevant checks.
  • Demonstrated understanding of disability support principles and practices.
  • Experience working with high-needs clients.
