We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated professional to fill the role of Heavy Diesel Mechanic

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in mobile plant technology and heavy vehicle/truck mechanics.

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for preparing new equipment to customer specifications and providing quality diagnostics and maintenance services.

  • Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Preparation and testing of pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic)
  • Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle/Truck Mechanics are encouraged to apply
  • Earthmoving equipment experience is highly regarded
  • A commitment to safety and strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work
  • Ability to work within a team environment
